SpitFires, Phantoms and B52s - Can you guys purchase/borrow a black cowgirl/cowboy hat between now and recital? It can be any style black cowboy/cowgirl hat, just black. If you have one already or know someone that you could borrow their's for the evening, that would be great. We are going all out for the finale. We would like for you all to wear black hats to match your opener costumes because you are coming back on for finale in those costumes. ThunderBoltz and BombShells - We would like for you buys to wear black shorts, recital t-shirt (if you purchase one, if not then just a plain black t-shirt), any color cowgirl/cowboy boots that you may own or could borrow for the evening and any color cowgirl/cowboy hat that you may already have or could borrow. Parents, please wear your boots! Get ready parents for a great parent dance this year with your boots and hats!

BombShells and ThunderBoltz - Hot Cheetos and Takis! Girls, Your pants are in and we will hand those out this week. We have decided to let you all go purchase a red and or red/black combination to finish your costumes. So a red top and a black jacket or a black top and a red accent piece. We want them to look at hip hop as possible so go for it. Everyone can be different and that will be really cute. If don't have Grease boots, please purchase a black lace up combat boot for this dance. We have heard that target has them really cheap right now. The combat boots can vary as well as long as they are black. No hats or headpieces. We will try to keep it simple. Boys if you want to wear black pants and red shirt or red/black combo will be great.

We will be starting the opening number production with the B52's, Phantoms and SpitFires next week. B52's and Phantoms - choreography will be during your normal times on Wednesday. SpitFires choreography will be on Saturdays while we are wrapping up Higher. We will also rehearse on Saturdays with the exception of the Saturday before Easter. We will try to get it ready to take to Stage One in April for pre-qualifications. We are still working on costuming ideas with Darlene so give us a couple of days to come up with the total cost. We are so excited to be attending our first 2013 competition at Starbound this weekend! We have so many blessings to be thankful for. The students have worked extra hard this year and are really trying hard to focus on performance and technique in the classroom as well as on the stage. They are all doing such a wonderful job! We are so proud of each every one of our students. Thanks to all of our parents who have worked so hard behind the scenes from altering costumes to building props to creating a booster club to benefit everyone. Our students are so blessed to have such supportive parents in the lives. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! Our program would not be successful without so many positive factors.


Enjoy these special moments with your children. Competitions can be stressful but don’t let the stress take the fun out of these special times that your children will cherish forever. Laugh and have fun, be supportive of every dancer that you watch on the stage. Children are such precious gifts.

Dancers – please arrive with your hair and makeup completely done and ready to dance. Arrive 2 hours early. So excited for you all to perform, do this for yourselves – you have worked so hard.
