Nationals Entry Fees

The Stage One Nationals entry fees are $45 per dance. Since you paid $100 toward your nationals deposit in the beginning of the year, you will receive $10 credit off your final may billing. Thank you.

Competition Reminders and Checklist

Just some quick reminders for students and parents for competition this weekend:

1. Always be courteous when walking to and from your seat in the auditoriums. Do not try to find a seat or stand up in the middle of the aisleways while a team is dancing. You are blocking the view of other parents and grandparents trying to watch their children perform.

2. Be kind to each other always.

3. Always show good sportsmanship. Always congratulate the other teams and other studios....always.


4. Arrive 2 hours before your competition time...always.

5. Call Shawn or Janie cell phones if you are going to be late. 708-0194 Shawn

6. Secure your hairpieces BombShells and ThunderBoltz.

7. Safety Pin the necks of your Hot Stuff dresses Phantoms.

8. Check your music cuts Shawn. (Just had to put this one in)

9. Always smile on and off stage. Point your toes and lower your shoulders...relax . Life is good...always!

10. Good Luck to us all! Everyone have a safe trip!

Stage One Video Offer

Stage One has offered DVDs that includes all of our studio dances for $45. DVDs will be offered at the competition for $25 for the first dance and $20 for all other dances after the first dance. Let us know if you are interested in purchasing these DVDs. If we have 10 orders, we will qualify for the $45 price.

Shawn and Janie take totally repsonsibility for the mis-communication for ThunderBoltz rehearsal on Friday, April 2. Shawn apologized to all who came to practice on Friday morning. We realize how everyone looks forward to their weekends and special holidays and are so sorry for the time that you spent waiting in the parking lot.

New Rules for ALL Legacy Dance Teams...
Each student is responsible for checking the blog to receive rehearsal times.
If the rehearsal is not posted on the blog, then it is not official.
Shawn is responsible to communicate this information. No one else on any team should be responsible to inform the team of this information.

We will even make it easier and post the blog updates to our new website at www.thelegacydance.com and also post to the blog until we have the new website completed in it's entirety. The postings will be on the front page of the www.thelegacydance.COM website until we have each team's page password formatted.

Parents are not responsible for communicating rehearsal times and we will do a better job of keeping everyone posted. This was our fault and no one else is to be blamed for this mis-communication and it should have been over on Friday morning with Shawn's apology.
